Inez Kistler Lineberger
( November 15, 1921 - February 15, 2018 )
Inez Kistler Lineberger, age 96, of the Brian Center, and formerly of Lineberger Road in Lincolnton, died on Thursday, February 15, 2018.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 17, 2018, in the High Shoals Memorial Gardens with Rev. Eli Williams officiating. The family will greet friends graveside following the service.
Mrs. Lineberger was born November 15, 1921, in Lincoln County, to the late Claude Washington and Leath Wise Kistler. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, James Noah Lineberger, Sr.; two brothers, Paul and Basil Kistler; and a sister, Iura Pruitt. She attended New Heights Baptist Church in High Shoals where she was a charter member.
She is survived by a son, James Noah “Jim” Lineberger, Jr. (Bobbi) of High Shoals; grandchildren, Cammy Cloninger (Joe) of Bessemer City, Scott Lineberger (Patty) , and Brad Lineberger of Lincolnton; brother, Claude Kistler (Mildred) of Belmont; great-grandchildren, Matt (Mayra), Lacey Walters (Michael) of Bessemer City, Dylan (Katie) of Stanley, Garrett, Sydney, Sierra of Alexis; one great-great-grandson, Asher Cloninger of Bessemer City; and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of the Brian Center, and Hospice nurse, Betty.
