Donnis Rome Martin, age 83, of Maiden, died on Monday, January 14, 2019.
Her funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, January 18, 2019, at McKendree United Methodist Church with Rev. Gregg Plott officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
Mrs. Martin was born April 11, 1935, in Rutherford County, to the late Howard and Inez McGinnis Rome. She was a secretary for Carolina Mills.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Martin of the home; daughter, Stephanie Beth Martin of Maiden; brother, Thomas Rome of Maiden; brother, Carl Martin of Lincolnton; six nieces and one nephew.
