Martha King Eaves

Martha King Eaves, age 99, of Azalea Trail in Denver, died on Sunday, April 24, 2022.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 29, 2022, at Forest Lawn West Cemetery in Charlotte with Rev. Steve Autrey officiating.
Mrs. Eaves was born January 4, 1923, in Mecklenburg County, to the late Joe and Estus Beatty King. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Carroll “Pete” Eaves; son, Charles A. “Bud” Eaves; granddaughter, Lisa Boone; sister, Lib White; and brother, Joe F. King. She worked as a supervisor for 15 years in the stock transfer department of Interstate Securities Corporation. After retirement, she worked as a tour director with Christian Tours.
She is survived by a daughter, Trudy Boone of Denver; sister, Elsie Armstrong of Denver; daughter-in-law, Diane Eaves of Charlotte; granddaughter, Mandy Eaves (Danny) of Charlotte; grandsons, Brian Eaves of Charlotte and Daniel Boone of Hurricane, WV; two great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Denver United Methodist Church, PO Box 661, Denver, NC 28037.
